It was during the 1980's
that I would began to question things I had been taught concerning scripture. One topic that really puzzled me was the
Return of Christ. The writers of the New Testament seemed to concradict what was being preached today.
It was during the 1990's
when I first heard of preterism. I learned a lot from their writings, but I was in disagreement on the way the Resurrection,
Rapture and the New Heaven and New Earth of ( Rev. 21-22 ) was being taught.
So to set my self apart from what I call ( figurative preterism ), In the 1990's I wrote a short article on ( literal preterism
). Several years later, I am still convinced that literal preterism is a much more accurate interpretation of the Return
of Christ than futurism or figurative preterism.
